At Albertus Magnus, Melissa works with a culturally diverse student body. She cultivates relationships with employers and faculty sponsors to establish practicums, internships, work studies and collaborative research opportunities for the students , then supervises their experiential learning and assesses the programs' impact.
In addition, she promotes and supports faculty development, plans and implements numerous special events at Albertus, and acts as faculty advisor for the Community Outreach Program Club. Melissa has taught many courses in Communications and Marketing at both Albertus and at Southern CT State University, where she was an Adjunct Professor. She graduated from SCSU with a B.S. in Managerial Communication and earned her Masters Degree there in Instructional Technology.
Melissa's many talents are currently put to use on the Board Special Events Committee where she is helping with plans and promotion of our New Haven Scrabble Challenge to be held April 30, 2015.
She resides in North Branford with her husband John, and two children, Ryan and Tessa.
